Psychologists say there are two things people always lose – a TV remote control and a phone. I’m sure this problem is quite familiar to you: You know your phone is there, somewhere in the house, but you can’t find it!

Usually in this situation you ask someone to call you, you hear the familiar ringtone and you manage to find the phone at last. Now the “lost phone” problem can be solved without bothering your relatives or friends.

American designer Dave Dawson has made quite a useful website — icantfindmyphone.com. Yeah, “I can’t find my phone” If you’re one of those who always forget where they put their phones, just enter your phone number in the special field, and the system will call you.

Of course, for several advanced phones, including the new HTC Desire series, a similar service already exists. But from this website you can call not only on advanced phones, but on very old ones as well.

The website is mainly targeted at Americans, but if you’re outside the U.S., you can still use the service to find your phone – you’ll just need to enter the country code.

And finally, if someone decides to play around and starts using the service to make annoying calls on your phone (from website’s number — (208) 953-1569), you can add your number to the black list, and the system will never call you again.

I can only add that the service is free of charge. The designer just asks those who liked the website to buy him “a cup of coffee” – to make a little donation.
