Best Buy Offering HTC Flyer

Best Buy made a statement that they will offering HTC Flyer- new HTC tablet exclusively starting this spring. If getting too much worried about the fact that HTC already has 2 tablets and don’t know which one to get-then I will disappoint you as in this case we do have he same device, only in Sprint case it’s coming with a name of HTC EVO View 4G.

“Over the past few months we’ve seen several new tablets enter the market, and we’re especially excited to partner with HTC to bring the Wi-Fi version of the HTC Flyer to our customers as a national retail launch exclusive,” was told by Scott Anderson, head of merchandising for Best Buy Mobile. “We have worked hard to bring a large assortment of great tablets to Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile stores, and the HTC Flyer is a great example of that effort.”

The tablet sports 7 inch display with a resolution of 1024 × 768 ( quite small size for tablets), Android 2.2, 16GB of storage capability, 5 megapixel camera and 1.3 megapixel front-facing one , 1.5 GHz processor and a super cool 4ooo mAh battery.

While being a pretty interesting innovation itself, the tablet comes with just another cool novelties from HTC. The first has to do with the functionality- it’s the improved version of HTC Sense UI. The second one is the new stylus, the so-called HTC Scribe.

Best Buy did not announce anything about the possible launch date or the pricing of the gadget, while the availability will be applicable both to the online stores of the retailer and the local stores- Best Buy Mobile stores. Hopefully the pricing of the gadget will not increase $450, as otherwise it will not be able to get through the tough competition of powerful tablets from other manufacturers.
