The HTC One X was launched in the UK a month ago but because of issues regarding the production of Snapdragon S4 chipsets it was delayed in the US. Anyway, everything is now left behind as right yesterday AT&T launched the HTC One X as announced earlier.
The One X is the top-end smartphone of the One series. The original HTC One X was packed with a quad-core Tegra 3 chip, which doesn’t support LTE, therefore the manufacturer had to replace it with a dual-core snapdragon processor. Besides that, the device is packed with a monster-sized 4.7-inch 720p resolution touchscreen, the pixel density of which is 312ppi. The screen is protected with Gorilla Glass technology, thus, the display won’t be easy to scratch. Plus, the smartphone sports an 8MP camera on the back and a 1.3MP frontal camera, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, and runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC Sense 4.0. Consequently, the One X supports Beats Audio system as well.
The AT&T HTC One X is sold for $199.99 on contract. It was something expected as AT&T’s high-end smartphones with HTC branding usually cost that much.
