AT&T HTC One X Photo Leaked

The HTC One X is the most anticipated and mysterious One line device. The phone is already launched in several European countries and the US. Other than that, we are thoroughly aware of its features. Sprint released the Tegra 3-powered variant of the handsets, while we are waiting for a dual-core one supporting AT&T’s 4G LTE network. We are not sure about this model’s launch date but AT&T HTC One X dubbed the HTC One XL is said to be launched on May 6. As for now we have a couple of pictures coming from Wireless Goodness showing AT&T’s version looks more attractive than the HTC One 4G LTE launched via Sprint.

When I said this smartphone is mysterious I meant no one knows what processor there will be inside the hood. At first sight, it seems everything is clear and the One X will be launched via AT&T with a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1.5GHz because Tegra 3 quad-core processors don’t support LTE. But recently it was said the HTC One X equipped with a quad-core processor had passed through FCC, consequently there is a chance to see an LTE-enabled One X with four cores aboard.

On the other hand, the HTC One X in face of the HTC One 4G LTE is already launched via Sprint, and if AT&T’s model sports similar features, there is no explanation why the second biggest carrier didn’t launch its version too. We must also take into account that Snapdragon S4-packed smartphones will be late because of industrial difficulties.

On the whole, the HTC One X will be launched in the US in three different versions. The third rumored carrier is T-Mobile, which can also have its own variant of the HTC One X.

As of present, one thing to do is to patiently wait for AT&T’s official statement without being concerned about the number of cores inside the hood as the latest tests showed the dual-core HTC One X is faster than the quad-core HTC One XL.
