No one will argue the Angry Birds are one of the latest amazing games in mobile world. There is not anything superior but these little birds could make us to spend hours at our smartphones. Ok, that wasn’t a secret, though many of you probably wouldn’t agree with me or Android users would banter the WP7 users saying it is available on Android smartphones but not on Windows Phone 7. So WP7 users, that’s your time – the Angry Birds will be launched for Windows Phone 7 on April 6th.
There would be several other games to be released for the Microsoft’s platform in face of:
- Doodle Jump
- Plants vs Zombies
- Hydro Thunder Go
- Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode I
- geoDefense.
All these games and other achievements, leaderboards and more will come with Xbox LIVE integration.
Though many users probably are disappointed by the delayed launched of this game, but we have to remember the Angry Birds’ icon has been put on Microsoft’s site without a permission. And responding to the appeal Microsoft answered the image was a mockup, not meant to go live and that the Angry Birds icon was included by mistake.
Anyway, this deal comes to confirm the new platform of Microsoft is slowly going mainstream. Recall the Angry Birds is one of the most popular apps of the iPhone and Microsoft is doing its best to bring all successful apps to its new version of mobile OS, called Mango, which is going to be one of the key features of Nokia’s high-end devices.
