Android apps: Ringdroid

Ringdroid will assist you in creation of ringtones for your phone. It’s a very simple yet neat-looking app that doesn’t need any figuring out – you’ll know what to do as soon as you see it. And the first thing you see when you load the app is all of your music sorted alphabetically by file name. You can also search for a specific song or record a new one. Once you find the one you want (and this could be tough for people with loads of songs on their phones) you will see a graph of the song and 2 sliders. You can zoom in and zoom out of the graph to make it easier finding the right part. Move the sliders to select specific part of the song and then save it. You can even type in specific coordinates of start and end.

It’s a nice app and does the job done pretty easily however I think more options for sorting the songs wouldn’t hurt. Like for instance sorting by artist, title, disc, etc. However, the app is very popular and one of the best on the market. Worth a try!

Tried to create ringtone. Moved sliders in position and saved. When replayed the ringtone it was playing in high speed. Not so happy about it right now.
