Android 4.0 ICS for Bell HTC Raider, HTC Sensation and More

The only handset rocking Android 4.0 ICS is the Google brand device Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Still some of the manufacturers are promising to bring Android ICS update to their devices sometime next year.

Bell, which is already offering the exclusive Android 4.0 device, revealed a doc demonstrating the update dates for a few devices. The list includes the HTC Sensation, the HTC Raider, the Samsung Galaxy S II and the LG Optimus LTE.

The first in the list, the HTC Sensation will receive the update in February. Raider will get the update in March, while the Gaxaxy S II in April. For the LG Optimus LTE we have a TBD mark (To be determined). The fact it comes fourth in the list, gives us a ground to assume it’ll be the last to receive the software update.

Still these are estimated update dates, which means we can have delays. Too bad this carrier has only a few HTC devices, which are not that popular. Hopefully the rest of the high-end devices will get the ICS even earlier than the handsets in Bell’s list.
