HTC always tries to keep its smartphones up to date, though the first handsets getting the latest updates are the more popular devices of the carriers. The HTC Droid Incredible is a veteran in Verizon’s lineup, and there was a time when Big Red decided to bury it, but it is not easy to remove heavyweights from the arena.
The Droid Incredible is one of the most famous Android-powered smartphones of the company. Unlike other Droid line handsets it was launched in different colors to please more consumers. Though it was not as strong in software aspect, the carrier and the manufacturer did their best not to leave it outdated. The Droid Incredible got all possible software, system and Sense updates at one time. It seemed everything was going well, but today we were informed that its Android 2.3.4 updates is delayed for unknown reasons.
I think Gingerbread will reach to the HTC Droid Incredible eventually, but it’ll be nice to find out why it was delayed. So, if you have any thoughts, we are impatient to listen to them.
