Following the sample of T-Mobile updating myTouch 3G, Vodafone UK has plans to update its HTC Magic with the same Android 2.2.1. The actual process of the update will start in a few weeks.
As we know the release of the Android 2.3 made happy mostly those users who have the hope of getting it on their gadgets, as for those who do not the carriers are offering some interesting type of compensation, which is still a big deal. Especially this includes the devices which were launched almost two years ago just like in case of HTC Magic.
