Off late we have heard that HTC is undergoing a number of software updates for its phones, especially HTC One. But however, if the latest rumour stands true, the company’s HTC One SV which is an international device is also undergoing an update to Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and Sense UI 5.0. Therefore by far we can say that this is the best update that HTC is offering, with nearly all the latest and the best aspects.
The size of the update is huge and is almost of 430 MB size and therefore it is recommended to download the software over any wifi network. The entire process of installation will take around 15 minutes time.
For those who are unaware about the device, HTC One SV ran on a Android 4.1 software with an aging sense UI 4 just like the other HTC devices that were introduced last year.
Therefore this entire process of update is a surprise for all and already the customers are wondering whether T-Mobile’s One S will receive a similar update in the future.
The rumours had begun way back in the month of June, but now it has received an affirmation and has been confirmed by one popular Twitter user.
Though this is great news for the HTC One SV users who are using the device on a wide scale all over UK and parts of US as well, carriers of the T-Mobile are not receiving the news well as a similar phone One S launched by them won’t be getting the same update. This issue has been with HTC all along and seems like the issue is to continue forever.
As long as HTC One is considered, they did a great job by updating the device with Android 4.3 and other such updates. These updates took place in the month of October. Though they were capable of beating Samsung and their flagship devices, how well do they do against Android 4.4 KiKat is worth considering.
And those of you who are enjoying the HTC One SV, head into the setting for more enjoyment and check for updates so that you receive the Adroid 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and Sense UI 5.0 for your handset.
This news is seemingly good for HTC who has faced immense crisis in the last quarter. But how well are the updates accepted with competitors in the market such as Google and iPhone is worth notice.
