Interesting photo, is not it? It has two Nexus One smartphones with display being the only difference. One of them is Super LCD of Sony brand, the other – with AMOLED-matrix from Samsung. As you continue reading and watch the video you’ll see both phones starting in complete darkness.
In tests the “laboratory” and even “street” conditions display were almost equal. Only in the bright light SLCD provides better readability due to the high contrast. But in the dark results are completely opposite.
As you know, bringing to market devices with Super LCD-panels will not stop the production of smartphones with AMOLED.
So, the winner is announced to be Nexus One with AMOLED-display.
