10 Most Expected Phones of Fall 2009

A lot of interesting and attention worthy smartphones and cell phones both for Windows Mobile 6.5, and for Google Android were recently presented at CTIA in Las Vegas. Here is the list of the 10 most interesting of them.

Samsung Moment
This is the second phone from Samsung, announced at CTIA. Before this, the Samsung Behold II was presented at the exhibition. The device has a 3.2 inch display, convenient for viewing videos and photos. The screen differs in a wide viewing angle, allowing to watch videos without any  kind of distortions or discoloration.

This phone is also equipped with a convenient display. However, it has more features of interface – easy access to the menu with multimedia functions: access music, photos, videos, web browser and Amazon store, line of MP3-files. Samsung Behold II is similar to its predecessor of the first generation, and because of this, the keyboard of the device is not quite as comfortable. The smartphone has a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, as well as Wi-Fi-module.

HTC Pure

This phone is a significant improvement of its predecessor Touch Diamond. The new device has a more advanced technical features, sophisticated design and new features that are supported by Windows Mobile 6.5.

There is a traditional minimalism in design. Only a few buttons are available on the surface of the device and there is no physical keyboard. You can manage your phone using the touch screen of 3.2 inches with a resolution of 800×480 pixels.
HTC Pure is running Windows Mobile 6.5. Unfortunately, the phone does not have multimedia functions inherent to the mobile platform. Also, there is certain slowness in the work of the applications.

HTC Touch Pro 2
This phone belongs to a business-oriented segment of smartphones. Smartphone has one of the best QWERTY-keyboard. In addition, it has additional useful buttons – for example, button for a quick launch of browser, call the interface to send SMS, scrolling.
The phone has a display with a diagonal of 3.6 inches, two speakers and a microphone, which can be used for conference calls.

Samsung Intrepid
The device is equipped with a 2.5-inch touch screen and full QWERTY-keyboard. One of the biggest advantages for business customers is the support international roaming. The phone has stereo Bluetooth, Wi-Fi-connections and 3.2-megapixel camera with video capture.
Intrepid was the first phone that supports Windows Tellme voice dialing services.

Motorola Cliq
Announcement of this phone appeared just shortly before the CTIA exhibition. Developers initially positioned it as one of the best Android-based phones.
The phone has both keyboard and touch screen. It is pleasant to the touch device with an ergonomic keyboard. The device is equipped with MOTOBLUR interface, which simplifies access to content Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and Gmail, facilitates e-mails, as well as sharing photos and video clips.

HTC Imagio
HTC Imagio is another convenient phone with large touch screen of 3.6 inches. The device uses a TouchFLO 3D proprietary shell, simplifies work with multimedia. The phone comes preloaded with Microsoft Office Mobile Suite and Adobe Reader LE, which include support for Exchange, Microsoft Direct Push Technology.

T-Mobile Tap
This is one of the budget smartphones, aimed specially for young users. The device has a touch screen, plenty of multimedia features, including a megapixel camera with video recording, music player, GPS, Stereo Bluetooth, and support of e-mail, SMS, MMS and instant messaging.

Pantech Reveal
This phone is convenient for entering text. It will be interesting to those who  like to make many notes and  write SMS. The phone has both mobile and standard QWERTY-keyboard. Also it has a GPS-navigation, the ability to work with the networks 3G, music and video player, slot for memory expansion and two-megapixel camera with video capture.

Samsung Mythic has a touch screen at 3.3 inches, and TouchWiz user interface. The phone is positioned as a budget mobile phone for young users.
